About Flexx-Rap
Our mission is to provide our customers worldwide with a product they need, when they need it and at an affordable price.
Flexx-Rap finger protection tape was first introduced in 1992 – targeting fishermen and fishing tackle stores. Fishermen used the wrap to protect their fingers from monofilament line cuts, and remains strong in the fishing industry today. Soon after, nail technicians discovered Flexx-Rap to protect their nails and fingers from filing burns and blisters while working on clients. As the many different uses of Flexx-Rap grew, the demand for a finger protection increased.
Over the years, our marketing has resulted in discovering that there are countless numbers of people who need finger protection. Our goal is to be on the countertops of retail stores across the country, making it easy and convenient for our customers to buy.
Important OSHA Regulations
Flexx-Rap will protect you and your employees from injury. A recent study by the Department of Labor Statistics shows that "Finger or fingernails proved to be the body parts that are most susceptible to injury, accounting for 18.2 percent of injuries in the workplace." A continuing focus on workplace safety by employers does pay off. OSHA states "Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employee's hands are exposed to hazards such as those from cuts or lacerations, abrasions, etc."
Flexx-Rap can help employers stay in compliance with the OSHA regulations while providing additional safety in the workplace. Flexx-Rap can improve the industry safety standard for the prevention of finger injuries in the workplace. It can help in your effort to provide a safe work environment for your employees and prevent some of the most common, and therefore costly, workplace injuries.
